Sananga eyedrops medizin from the rainforest

What is Sananga? The plant medicine for healthy eyes and balance

In today’s world, where our eyes are exposed to a variety of stresses on a daily basis, more and more people are looking for natural ways to maintain and improve their vision. One such option that has gained popularity in recent years is the use of Sananga, a traditional herbal preparation from the Amazon. In this article, we will take a closer look at the concept of Sananga, exploring its origin and potential eye health benefits.

What is Sananga?

Sananga is a substance extracted from the roots and barks of various Amazonian plant species, including the plants “Tabernaemontana undulata” and “Tabernaemontana sananho.” The indigenous people of the Amazon have used Sananga for generations for a variety of purposes, including spiritual rituals, physical healing and especially the treatment of eye problems.

Sananga is prepared by soaking the plant roots or barks in water to extract a liquid, which is then drizzled directly into the eyes. Sananga is believed to have an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and cleansing effect on the eyes.

Potential benefits of Sananga for eye health:

1. Cleansing of the eyes:

The use of Sananga is designed to help cleanse the eyes of pollutants, dirt and other foreign matter. This can be especially beneficial for people who are exposed to daily environmental stress and screen work.

2.Anti-inflammatory effect:
Sananga is often used for eye inflammation as it is said to have anti-inflammatory properties. This property can help reduce irritation and swelling in the eyes.

3.Support for vision problems:
Some users report improved vision after regular use of Sananga.
A Sananga cure lasts 4 months. Sananga is administered once a day for 3 weeks at a time, followed by a week’s break. This procedure is followed for a total of 4 months. Afterwards, your eyesight should be completely restored in the best case. However, this cannot be guaranteed, as several other factors influence this. A reduction in the diopter strength can be guaranteed.

4.Energetic and spiritual significance:
In some indigenous cultures of the Amazon region, sananga is not only considered a physical medicine, but also a means of spiritual purification and clearing of the senses. It is believed that the use of sananga can broaden perception and deepen one’s connection to the environment.

5.Stress reduction:
The ritual use of Sananga can also help to reduce stress and increase general well-being. This can also indirectly have positive effects on eye health, as stress is often associated with various eye problems.

Sananga is undoubtedly an interesting option for those looking for natural ways to support their eye health. Centuries of use in indigenous Amazonian cultures suggest that Sananga may have some potential benefits for the eyes. Whether you’re curious about traditional remedies or looking for alternative approaches to eye care, Sananga could be an intriguing option to explore.

Sananga Deep Dive

Sananga – Origins, Effects, and Applications

Origins and Traditional Use

The use of Sananga (also known as Bechette) was first documented by Scott Wallace from National Geographic, who reported on the Matis tribe. This powerful plant medicine has been used for thousands of years by indigenous peoples in Peru and Brazil.

Sananga is known by different names among various tribes:

  • Mana Heins (Kaxinawa)
  • Bechette (Matis and Matsés)
  • Kanapa Vetxe Shuti (Yawanawa)

The eye drops are derived from the roots and bark of Tabernaemontana undulata (Matsés) or Tabernaemontana sananho (Kaxinawa). These plants belong to the Apocynaceae family, which also includes Iboga (Tabernanthe iboga). They are mainly found in Acre, Brazil, and other parts of South America. The extracted liquid has a slightly milky appearance.

Production and Storage

Sananga can be extracted from either fresh leaves or roots:

  • Leaf extract: The juice is pressed within seconds and must be used immediately.
  • Root extract: Allows for longer storage and use over time.

Since Sananga’s active compounds degrade quickly, it is best stored in a refrigerator, where it remains potent for up to six months. After six month it is still potent and works, but it will be less strong. You are eyes will only burn 2-3 minutes instead of 5 to 10 minutes.

Effects and User Experience

Sananga application is intense. Most users report a burning and stinging sensation in the eyes, which lasts for a few minutes. However, through controlled breathing and focused visualization, this discomfort can be eased. The goal is to release energetic blockages and achieve profound healing.

Additional effects may include:

  • Physical cleansing: Some users experience nausea or increased bowel movements, indicating a deep purification process.
  • Heightened focus & perception: Sananga is believed to enhance mental clarity and sharpen awareness.
  • Emotional balance: Many report a sense of inner peace and harmony after use.

The initial effects subside after 5 to 10 minutes, but the subtle benefits can last for several days.

Sananga in Spiritual Ceremonies

Sananga is commonly used in healing rituals to help clear deep-seated blockages. It is believed to:

  • Purify emotional, physical, and spiritual energy
  • Expand spiritual awareness and intuition
  • Enhance clarity in visions and insights

Many people incorporate Sananga into Ayahuasca ceremonies, as it is thought to deepen spiritual experiences and intensify visions.

Medicinal Benefits & Healing Properties

Beyond its effects on vision, Sananga is used in traditional medicine for various conditions, including:
Eye conditions: Nearsightedness, cataracts, glaucoma, astigmatism, light sensitivity, dry or irritated eyes.
Pain relief: Rheumatism, migraines, toothaches.
Skin ailments: Accelerates wound healing, even from snake bites.
Anti-inflammatory & immune-boosting: Contains antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory compounds.

Sananga is rich in bioactive alkaloids, including Coronaldine, Quebrachidine, Ibogamine, and Voacangine. Some of these compounds are known for their antibiotic and analgesic properties.

Traditional Use – Sananga as a Hunting Aid

Many Amazonian tribes apply Sananga before hunting to sharpen their senses. The drops are said to:

  • Enhance visual perception
  • Heighten awareness of movement in the dense jungle
  • Improve focus and endurance

Some indigenous hunters claim that Sananga alters their vision, making animals appear in distinct colors, which makes them easier to spot.

Additionally, Sananga is used to increase the likelihood of success in hunting and help locate medicinal plants in the rainforest. Many tribes also use Kambo, another natural medicine, for similar purposes.

Dosage & Application

A calm and relaxed environment is essential for a Sananga session. The ideal setup includes:

  • A peaceful atmosphere (in nature or a quiet indoor space).
  • Lying down comfortably to ease the experience.
  • Closing the eyes after application to allow even distribution.

👉 Recommended dosage: One drop per eye is enough for a powerful experience. It is important to apply Sananga to both eyes consecutively to maintain energetic balance.

Sananga can also be used in microdoses daily. However, for deeper effects, it is recommended to use it no more than three consecutive days at a time.

A Medicine for Body, Mind & Spirit

Sananga is a powerful plant medicine that offers profound benefits for physical healing, mental clarity, and spiritual awareness. Whether used to enhance vision, clear energetic blockages, or deepen consciousness, it remains a sacred tool for both indigenous tribes and modern users.

“Every medicine works through the power of intention.”
